Cancellation/Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, you may do so without penalty if you call us more than 24 hours before arrival. Any guest failing to arrive or inform us of a requirement to cancel will be charged in full for their first day of the accommodation as it appears on their booking confirmation.
Terms and Conditions
CHECK IN/OUT: Check in is between 2 pm and 11 pm on the day of arrival; earlier or later check in may be possible by prior arrangement - please call us. Check out time is 11 am on the day of departure, unless by prior arrangement with us. Late check out is subject to a $ 40.00 fee unless otherwise arranged. Payments on cash or debit card, a $150.00 deposit will be required.
CHARGES: All charges relating to room rentals are subject to HST tax at the prevailing rate, currently 13% as well as the MAT (Municipal Accommodation Tax) at the prevailing rate currently 4.52%. All room rates and taxes are subject to change without notice. Room rates are based on double occupancy. Any additional adult occupants will incur a charge of $10 per night, unless by prior arrangement. The owners reserve the right to decline an online booking for a king or queen room where the guest's party includes individuals below the age of eighteen years. The owners reserve the right to decline an online booking for a room with two beds, if the party exceeds two adults and two children below the age of 14 years. A valid Credit Card is required to reserve a room. We reserve the right to pre approve a reservation on the Credit Card provided.
PET POLICY: Dogs are welcome in certain rooms. We have a limited number of dog-friendly rooms and it is essential that you contact us before booking to check availability. Dogs must be well trained and quiet for the comfort of our other guests. Dogs must not be left unattended in your room and must be kept on a leash on motel property. Guests are responsible for their own pet clean-up. There is a charge of $ 15.00 plus applicable taxes per pet/day. A $ 40.00 refundable deposit subject to the condition of the room at check out may be required at check in.
NON SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the rooms. Any guest found in breach of this policy may be charged additional cleaning fees ($ 100 minimum) and may be requested to vacate their room, and forfeit any deposits made with Lord Nelson Motel.
